We are brand new and in the process of getting things setup...

Who are we?
KARATE345CAYMAN is an independent news website and social media presence covering the art and sport of KARATE in the Cayman Islands and around the world.
What do we do?
Take photos and videos of karate athletes, practicioners, and special guests on-stage, at both local and international Karate Events.
What is our goal?
To preserve the history of karate for both individuals and future generations.
Where is media shared?
Photos and Videos are shared on both our WEBSITE, and social media platforms - FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, and YOUTUBE.
Do we use AI to modify our content?
NO - Our published content is both factually accurate, and reviewed to ensure it is not presented out of context.
What is our take on Video Editing?
Video Editing helps us to "highlight" moments that are admirable and worth sharing. Any changes to video speed are done in a way that make it obvious the video was "sped up" or "slowed down", and never to mis-represent the actual speed of a person.
Do we sell our photos and videos?
NO - Our published content is FREE to view or share, under the condition that you do not remove our branding.

What are the legal guidelines we follow to ensure we remain professional at all times?
Structure
KARATE345CAYMAN is an independently run news website and social media presence. We currently have no legal structure to accept monetization or revenue, but this may change in the near future and we will update this website when that time comes.
Laws and Regulations
All photos and videos taken by KARATE345CAYMAN at events are done under the laws and regulations of the host country, and the rules and regulations of the event host organizers.
International Monetization
Since we do NOT sell our photos or videos, we are not conducting a "business" or "selling a service" in any of the host countries we travel to, nor will we accept any monetization or equivalent value in exchange for photography or videography services while travelling to host countries outside of the Cayman Islands, nor will we accept monetization "after" such travel, for the content directly relating to such event.
We reserve our right to pursue monetizing our brand within the Cayman Islands.
Content Review & Publishing
KARATE345CAYMAN will selectively delete all photos which we do not believe to meet professional standards for publication. We may also selectively "blur" or censor persons who we believe were inadvertently included in photos or videos, that otherwise might not want to be included. All remaining photos and videos will be shared on our social media and website. Videos may also be trimmed or edited for special effects and branding purposes. We will tag all published photos and videos where we can reasonably identify the subject of the content. If you would like to be tagged, or to have a tag removed, leave a comment on the post:
"please tag me" / "please un-tag me".
Redistribution
We DO NOT SELL any of our or media aka "photos and videos", nor should any of our media be re-sold without our permission. Event Organizers may use our content for review purposes, or promotion of their event. You may share our content, but do not remove the KARATE345CAYMAN branding.
Take Down Requests
Rule number one. Be polite to us and we will help you.
If you believe we just took your photo by accident:
You can approach us on the spot, and request a review. If you are identifiably in the photo, we will delete it on the spot, no questions asked. In most cases we take our photos at an aperture of "f1.8" so there is a good chance you are already "blurred out".
If you wish to have your photo or video removed from our website or social media posts:
Email us valid proof of identification - drivers license, passport, or message us from a social media profile that resonably proves your identity. Describe the content in question, provide links to it, request a "take-down" and we will make a reasonable effort to either censor your identity or remove the content entirely if censorship is not possible. Upon removal, any proof of identity document will also be immediately removed where possible. Note - We are not responsible for content re-published by other parties, nor do we have any control over that.
Data Privacy
We take photos and videos at public events, in a designated space where photos and videos are expected to be taken, under the authorization of the event host, for the purpose of online news and social media. By default, all photos and videos are published in the public domain. We provide the option to "Request a Take Down" of published photos and videos where you believe your privacy has been violated. Within reason, these will be censored or removed at our discretion.
